I love solving puzzles from crosswords to sudoku. I also love listening to music, especially when I am studying. I can not study without listening to some music, nothing will sink in. One game I will love to learn how to play is chess.

About Me

I am currently doing my second degree in Bio-medical Engineering. I already have a degree in Biochemistry, but has always been fascinated with Math and Engineering so when the opportunity came for me to go back to school I went back to my "First love".
I am also a member of the the national engineering honor society Tau Beta Pi. My career goal is to be a research scientist specializing in medical research.

Experience

I have been tutoring since high school. Before I begun my first degree in Biochemistry, I was a substitute teacher at a private school in Ghana called Hariom International school for two years. At this school I taught High school juniors and seniors General Science.At Wayne state I have also had the privilege of tutoring some students calculus I and II, College Physics I &II, and other Engineering courses every semester, as part of me been a member of the The National Engineering Honor Society

Approach

I usually make my own notes and find ways to explain things in a way that is related to real life situations where students can relate to. Rather than just giving out notes to students, I prefer to have students grab basic concepts first before I hand out notes.
I like solving problems that directly relates to the key concepts at hand, and then allow students to practice whilst I monitor their strength and weakness with regards to their understanding and application of key concepts.
