Fun Facts
I am from Albuquerque, New Mexico and have lived there for my whole life until I moved to Tacoma for school. I have one younger brother and a Doberman puppy. I really enjoy running and I hope to one day run a half or full marathon. I have also currently been working with journalism by joining a science and arts magazine, and I hope to continue with this newfound passion.
About Me
I am currently a freshman at the University of Puget Sound. Although my major is undecided at the moment, I am leaning towards the premed track and I am very interested in chemistry and biology. After graduation, my current goal is to get into medical school.
Experience
Throughout my junior and senior years in high school, I had the opportunity to tutor younger level math students every morning before school. During the summers I began working as a teachers assistant for all subject areas. I wanted to continue with this type of work in college, and Frog Tutoring gave me the perfect opportunity to do so.
Approach
As a child, I struggled with maintaining good study habits. I often found myself overwhelmed and frustrated when I did not understand something. As I got older, I began to realize that organization and structure in studying made learning easier. One of my goals is to help students find structure and aid them in finding study habits that work for them. Also, I believe that it is very important to learn in an enjoyable way.

Biochemistry
Algebra Tutoring
Algebra is one of my favorite subjects! I took multiple classes of Algebra throughout high school and aced all of them! During my junior and senior year of high school I tutored kids in algebra three to four times a week before school. I continue to take higher level maths in college, but algebra continues to be my favorite. I also still have my high school notes on the subject, so that will make tutoring this subject better!
Algebra II Tutoring
Algebra is one of my favorite subjects! I took multiple classes of Algebra throughout high school and aced all of them! During my junior and senior year of high school I tutored kids in algebra three to four times a week before school. I continue to take higher level maths in college, but algebra continues to be my favorite. I also still have my high school notes on the subject, so that will make tutoring this subject better!
Calculus AP Tutoring
Calculus is one of my favorite subjects and I am very excited to tutor this subject! I took AP calculus in high school and in my first semester of college and got an A in both of them. I used to be tutored in this subject, so I know helpful methods in tutoring for this specific subject. I also have plenty of resources because I kept all of my calculus notes (all levels) that can come in handy!
Math Tutoring
I would be a great math tutor because I have had many years of experience with it in all grade levels. I have tutored high school students during my junior and senior years of high school. I am considering minoring in mathematics, so I continue to take math courses in college!
Pre Calculus Tutoring
