About Me
I am in my fourth year in the School Psychology doctoral program at Fordham University. When I graduate, I hope to become a School Psychologist working with students of varying ages. I also would like to pursue a career in educational research.
Experience
In the past I volunteered at my church to provide homework assistance to young children. Currently I am working as a teacher's aide in the Baldwin School District. Within this position, I provide one-on-one assistance to students within the classroom. This assistance often entails providing academic assistance to students.

As a result of my ongoing training to become a School Psychologist, I have worked with students who need assistance completing homework assignments. I am able to help students organize their time and school materials, prioritize their assignments, and create a strategy to complete assignments in a timely manner.
Math Tutoring
I am currently in the doctoral School Psychology program at Fordham University. As part of the program requirements, I took statistics related classes. My grades ranged from A to B+. In addition, during my work as a teachers' aide, I have had the opportunity to assist students of various ages with math classwork. I am able to break it down so that students understand the concept.
Psychology Tutoring
During my undergraduate studies, my major was Psychology. As such, I have taken numerous psychology related courses. These include Introduction Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Research Methods and Design, History of Psychology, Social Psychology, and many others. My grades in these courses ranged from A to B+. Psychology is my passion; therefore, I love teaching it.
Study Skills Tutoring
As part of my training to become a School Psychologist, I have helped students with their organizational skills. These skills have transferred into the way the students approach completing assignments, and studying for tests. I am able to assist students with organizing their time and school materials in order to be successful in school.
English Tutoring
Going to a liberal arts college, I was required to take classes that concentrated on writing. As a result of these classes, I now have a good grasp of the English language. I will be able to help your child also obtain a good grasp of the English language.
Reading Comprehension Tutoring
Reading comprehension is often an area of difficulty for students. Working as a teacher's aide, I have had the opportunity to help students' with their reading comprehension skills. While working with students one-on-one, I have helped them develop and utilize strategies to complete reading comprehension activities.
Writing Tutoring
Using the strategies learned in their class, I will be able to help students with their writing.
