Fun Facts
I am a big fan fo Star Wars and try to use interest in order to help people understand the problem. I'm the second of 5 kids (3 boys and two girls) I've helped my sibling with their homework since mom and dad were always busy. I love building things out of Lego's. Thou I am horrible at spelling and grammar I enjoy creating my own stories and hope one day to get them published.
About Me
I am a Civil Engineering major at the University of Texas at San Antonio, prior to this I was at New Mexico Military School where I was on the dean's list. I'm working on becoming a Military Engineer. I've lived all over the US and know how to work with people from all cultures, race, and genders.
Experience
Besides helping my siblings, I would also help my classmates, as I've never gotten anything lower than a B in math and would always help my classmates and those who take the class years after. I enjoy helping and teaching the rising generation as they are the future leaders and enjoy giving back to my community.
Approach
I struggled with everything school related but math (and recess) growing up, so I know what it means to struggle and feel frustrated. my approach is to find something the person is interested in and turn the problem into something they can understand by relating the problem to that interest. This increase the desire to keep at the problem and eventually have the desire to learn and will want to learn and do the problems. This also increases their ability to understand the problem.
