Fun Facts

Every since I was a little girl I have been an active child. I enjoy any outdoor activity imaginable such as biking, swimming, running, soccer, ultimate frisbee, and camping. Another hobby of mine is arts and crafts. I enjoy making soap, jewelry, clay pottery and tie-dye.

About Me

I was born and raised in San Antonio Texas and is currently continuing my education at St. Mary's University as a biology major. I am currently a sophomore and on my way to becoming a dentist. I plan on achieving a D.M.D. and specializing in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University at Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. I am active in my community through school programs and volunteering at various places around San Antonio such as Goodwill and the Humane Society.

In the past I have volunteered my time to help other classmates understand learning material and build studying skills. Currently I am a proctor for a freshman biology class and mentor two students in the class. Anytime anybody needs help whether it would be academically or personally I am willing give a helping hand.


I really enjoy working with kids of all ages and I understand what it takes to be successful in the real world.It is important to have a good, comfortable and positive learning environment for the student. I like to get to know the students studying habits so I can see their strengths and weaknesses. I would like help to improve their weak academic and skills and foster their strengths. I think one on one tutoring is very beneficial and noticeably improves self esteem, confidence and grades. Every person is different so I would adjust to their best ways of learning, for example, whether it would be picture or verbal explanations.
