Fun Facts

I will encourage while using constructive criticism and boosting self esteem and confidence through learning. I love horses, but not just riding them. I love the relationship between a hose and a human, the way that size and confidence do not matter, but feelings and honesty do. I love math too, but when i was in K-12 grade school I hated it.

About Me

I am currently attending Sierra College at the Rocklin Campus, I am working towards a BA-T degree to be able to transfer to Sacramento State University and graduate with an English degree. After that I want to attend graduate school at U.C. Davis and graduate with a law degree. After that I would need to pass the state bar exam and I will be on my way to success in a job that I will love.

Experience

I am currently a private tutor for a middle school boy, and I have helped out with my sisters middle school and high school homework, my youngest sister just turned 16, so I felt it was time to branch out and share my strategies of positive rewards for excellent work with other children.

Approach

I struggled in high school, mostly socially, and I know that when a child goes to school, that kids are mean. It is hard to learn and feel judged all the time. What I found was that the teachers who stopped and took the time to see me as a person and help me succeed all used a specific approach. Teachers who create willing learners and active participants within their classes, use a personal approach. I strive to encourage students to know their worth, and capitalize on their strengths.
