I graduated from high school two years early. My hobbies include reading, writing, cross-stitching, learning foreign languages, Renaissance faires, history, and a lot of other things. My interests are versatile and I am always looking to try something new.
About Me
I graduated from high school two years early and have just finished my Master's degree. I am currently applying for a Ph.D. I received my Bachelor's degree in English from the University of California at Irvine and I just received my Master's degree in Library and Information Science from wayne-state-university">Wayne State University. I am currently applying for a doctorate degree, hopefully in medicine.
Experience
My first tutoring position was tutoring college level math, from basic math through trigonometry. I also have experience tutoring high school level math and college level English. I am proficient in the sciences and have tutored in Biology previously. Overall, I have approximately 10 years worth of tutoring experience!
Approach
I am a very patient individual. I try to assess where my tutee's level is at and I try to build a growth plan for him or her based on that assessment. Normally students have homework to complete and so I help them to understand it and if there is extra time in the tutoring session, I like to utilize it by implementing further exercises to reinforce the material learned.

Since I am going for a medical doctor degree, I have had to take a lot of biology courses including the general biology series, anatomy and physiology, as well as microbiology, etc.
