Fun Facts
I am from Minnesota, so I love to be out on the lake wake surfing or skiing with my family and friends. I am a very outdoorsy person, so running and hiking are two of my all-time favorite things to do!
About Me
I am just finishing my freshman year at Barrett Honors College in Arizona State University. I am also currently directly admitted into the Nursing program (BSN). I have been on the Dean's list all year and would consider myself a very hardworking student. When I graduate, I hope to pursue a Master's degree or Doctorate degree in order to become a Nurse Practitioner.
Experience
As a member of National Spanish Honors Society for 2 years in high school, I was able to tutor students who were in a Spanish Immersion program at a local elementary school (once a week). Also during high school, I was able to tutor first graders in math and reading skills once a week for a year. Now with Frog Tutoring, I want to impact even more students in their academic careers and make sure they get the help they need!
Approach
Throughout my whole academic career, I realized that learning is all about the right mindset. If I needed to get an assignment done or study for a test, I would always remind myself to approach it with a positive attitude. As a tutor, I will attempt to bring a positive mood to whatever subject I am helping a student with so that they can be successful in understanding and applying new knowledge.

Study Skills Tutoring
I have been a straight A or B student for my whole academic career. This has been due to the development of good study skills. Overall, I have been very good at managing my time, knowing how to relieve stress, and planning out assignments and studying ahead of time.
Spanish Tutoring
I have studied Spanish for 5 years. I was a National Spanish Honors Society member for two years in high school. I also have taken the AP Spanish Language and Culture test my senior year, receiving a score of 4.

I am very passionate about all different types of science, as it is the foundation for my major in college.

I also have experience from high school in taking an Anatomy course, which I received an A in for both semesters. This is what my major is all about, so I am very passionate about teaching A&P!
