Fun Facts

Although I've never lived outside of Utah, I am studying five languages and hope that I can live abroad after I graduate. I love to play the guitar, read, paint, and most of all, I love to learn. I wish I could take many more classes than the ones I have to. Also, I can't cook.

About Me

I am studying International Studies as a pre-medical student at the University of Utah. My minor is chemistry, which I absolutely love. I am involved with multiple international organizations on campus and enjoy meeting new students and showing them around. After I graduate, I hope to go to medical school and eventually become an oncologist.

I don't have much experience tutoring, but I jump at any chance I get. I often help international students with ESL and math classes, and I've been tutoring a couple students in French for a while. I am excited to meet students, and hopefully make learning easier for them.

The most unhelpful characteristic as a tutor is impatience. From personal experience, I know how frustrating working with a tutor who is not invested or caring can be, and as a tutor, I put all my effort into working with students from a common ground. I like to get to know people, and believe this helps with communication and understanding.
