Fun Facts

In my free time, I enjoy following Cleveland sports (maybe next year, Browns), boxing and reading. Though I love my hometown in Ohio, I decided to take a a chance and move to the east coast in order to jumpstart my career in decision science and analytics.

About Me

I am a recent graduate from the pittsburgh">University of Pittsburgh, where I received a Master of Science degree in Biostatistics. Before that, I attended carroll-university">John Carroll University in Cleveland, where I majored in Biochemistry and made the Dean's List all eight semesters. I currently work in the decision science division at a consulting and management company where I use my background in math and statistics to solve problems for our clients.

Experience

As a member of the American Chemical Society in undergrad, and the American Statistical Association in grad school, I had the opportunity to volunteer my time to tutor students in various chemistry courses and statistics. Additionally, I have done private tutoring in chemistry and other science disciplines with numerous students in the Cleveland area.

Approach

Through my 18 years of being a student and 6 years of being a tutor, I have found what does and doesn't work in an educational setting. I strive to not only create a positive, upbeat environment for my students, but to explain the content in a very clear and concise manner, with easy-to-follow examples that add context and clarity to the material.
