Do you help with homework?
Yes! We take time to make sure the student understands the major concepts behind the homework without providing them with the answer. We guide students toward arriving at the right answer on their own.
What grade levels do we tutor?
We offer one-on-one tutoring for Elementary school, Middle school, High school, and College students as well as adults.
Where do you offer Tutoring?
Our preferred location is your home where the student is most comfortable. However, our tutors are also more than willing to meet at a public library or school.
What if I miss a tutoring session?
We are very flexible and are more than willing to work with your schedule. If for any reason you can’t keep a tutoring appointment, let our office know 24 hours in advance so that we can reschedule the tutoring session.
What is your reimbursement policy?
If you decide to cancel your package, your hours will be prorated based on the number of hours you used until that point. Further information is available in our refund policy.
What time do you offer tutoring?
We offer one-on-one tutoring 7 days a week in the time frame that is most convenient for you most convenient for you and your student.
What subjects do you offer tutoring for?
Math: Algebra, Calculus, Statistics, Trigonometry.
Science: Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, Physics.
Standardized tests: TAKS Science, TAKS Math, SAT Math and Reading, ACT. Other Subjects: Computer Science, Spanish, German, Music French, Social Studies, and more!

Why the specialization in Math and Science?
There is overwhelming evidence that American students lag behind students in countries like China, India and Russia in their math and science skills. Frog Tutoring specializes in math and science so that we can reinforce and strengthen American students in these areas and provide them with the strong foundation they need to compete for future jobs in the expanding global economy.
What are the qualifications for your tutors?
Our tutors are current students or graduates from area institutions. They are screened for excellence based on their academic records and their ability to motivate and adapt to each student's unique needs. Each tutor must have documentation of at least a 3.5 GPA in their area of specialization. We train our staff prior to assigning clients to ensure that they have the skills to work with the student on a personal level.
If my child is an A student, does he or she need a tutor?
Ultimately, the decision to use our services is between you and your child. However, should you choose to come to us for help, you will be happy to know that our local tutors are trained to work with students at all levels of achievement. Frog Tutors will challenge your gifted and talented student with more difficult concepts to enhance the depth of understanding in even their best subject. Our tutors are specifically trained to help students work ahead of the class, and some families use our services to help their gifted and talented students work ahead of their grade level.
My child is not motivated. Can your tutors help with motivation?
Yes! Our tutors love what they do and always welcome the challenge of working with kids who are not motivated. Simply having a tutor can be a very strong motivator for many students.
Is my Child safe around your tutors?
Yes! All of our tutors go through an extensive background check prior to employment to ensure your child’s safety.
What if there is no one at home during the scheduled appointment?
Because we are not liable for what occurs in the home in your absence, we require that someone responsible for your home and child is at home during all tutoring sessions. This applies to children aged 14 and under.
What if I don't like my tutor?
Not a problem! We have a broad and diverse team of qualified tutors and will match you with a tutor that better suits your needs and preferences. You can also make specific requests before your tutor is assigned to ensure you get the best possible match initially. If you require a tutor with a certain level of education or other qualities for any reason, such as a tutor with a Biology degree or a female tutor for a female child, just indicate this fact and we will gladly accommodate you.
How do I claim my referrer credit?
We will ask your referral to provide us with your first and last name so that we can credit your account.
