Experience
As a Teachers Aide, I work one-on-one with students on paper development and assignment completion. I develop online lessons, course materials, mentor students, assist in online classrooms, grade assignments, and am well versed in using web application teaching tools. I have over a decade of experience as a corporate trainer at the store and on a company level. I have trained hundreds of hourly and salaried employees and designed and implementing training materials.
Approach
As a child, I learned to overcome reading and learning disabilities. Leading with empathy has proved to be the most effective approach when teaching others. Empowering people with knowledge and skills comes from understanding if they are visual, tactile, auditory, hands-on, verbal, or combination learners. Then, helping them to understand how they learn best and developing studying and learning strategies that they can use in any arena.
