About Me
I am currently a student at Georgia Tech studying science/pennsylvania/philadelphia">computer science and considering a math minor. I have an academic passion for data science and artificial intelligence, and I may end up pursuing a Master's in those fields!
Experience
I have been tutoring middle and high school students for years. I have tutored math courses such as Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus; physics courses like physics/pennsylvania/philadelphia">AP Physics 1 and 2; science/pennsylvania/philadelphia">computer science courses in Java, Javascript, and both AP exams; and SAT prep. Most of my students went on to receive amazing grades and 5s on their AP exams! I'm looking forward to helping even more students get ahead!
Approach
My approach is to help my students understand the foundations of the topics that they are trying to learn - the "why", not just the "what". I find that having a solid conceptual understanding of topics before approaching complex problems helps students take a more creative and effective route to a solution. This method results in a much deeper understanding of the subject matter, and leads to better results!
