I’m a huge movie buff and love attending film festivals—I even got to meet Jessica Chastain at one! I grew up in a house with 10 cats, but due to my current lease agreement, I’m temporarily catless.

About Me

I'm a freelance writer, interpreter, and academic tutor. I studied Creative Writing at San Francisco State University and graduated summa cum laude in 2024. Currently, I'm finishing my first novel and attending weekly writing workshops.

Experience

I have been tutoring Writing and Reading for nearly three years, both at the university level, where I worked with freshmen and sophomores, and privately, where I helped high school and middle school students improve their reading comprehension.

Approach

When academic writing is in question, I follow the guidelines of crafting a clear and accessible essay, emphasizing the power of the original argument. When it is creative writing that my students need help with, I offer them prompts as a means by which they can tap into their deepest thoughts and transcribe them onto the page under the guises of their characters.
