I love learning about the world. I am a curious person. My favorites television programs as a kid are documentary style programs or any programs that list facts about the world. I also enjoy cooking and baking in my spare time. It doesn't always turn out great, but I like the process of learning and experimenting with the recipes.

About Me

I recently graduated from San Jose State University with my Master degree in Psychology. I am looking into getting a PhD in Psychology. My career goal is to be a university professor to conduct research and teaching because I would like to keep learning about the world and pass on what I learn.

Experience

My experience in tutoring are mostly informal. I helped my brother and my cousins with their homeworks. In highschool and undergrad, my classmates often asked me to help them understanding a subject. I find helping other understanding a concept also help me with my understanding of that concept.

Approach

I believe everyone have their own way of understanding the world. I think the best way to teach someone is first to learn about their perspective and try to link the subject to that unique perspective. Learning can also be a frustrating experience, so a positive and supportive atmosphere is needed to ease the frustration and help motivates the desire to learn.
