I absolutely love to travel. I've been to England, Dubai, India, Turkey, Canada, Mexico, and throughout the USA. I recently spent a week in New York City and absolutely loved it!

About Me

I have been a math teacher for the past six years in Texas public schools. I hold a BBA and a MBA in Business Administration. I've lived in Texas for the past 10 years and just moved home to Memphis.

Experience

I've taught students at all levels and abilities, but have mainly focused on the middle grades. Before I became a full time teacher, I volunteered with an elementary school and received valuable experience in motivating even the youngest of children to become excited about learning. Once I became a teacher, I sponsored many clubs and activities, even taking a pie to the face!

Approach

School should not be so demoralizing. And math is specifically defeating. Once a student becomes comfortable with being wrong, all hope can be lost. But when a student sees being wrong as a part of the process, the world can open up to them. It's not about being right. It's about knowing the process. That leads to correct answers.
