Fun Facts

A fun fact about me is that I love music. I play music all the time because it makes me happy. I also love playing musical instruments but I am yet to perfect that. I reside in Baltimore and don't really travel out.

About Me

I am a PhD student majoring in Higher Education at Morgan State University. I am into this course because I hope to lecture in the future since I love impacting knowledge in the younger generation. I love teaching math because I discovered that many students have difficulty in this area, it is my desire to make the students I teach very comfortable solving math problems.

Experience

I have been a tutor for many number of years. As an undergraduate student I had the opportunity to teach my class mates. This was also the case when I was taking my masters. I have always tutored students from elementary school to college. I have over 15 years of tutoring experience with notable success at every opportunity.

Approach

As an experienced tutor, I love to break down the information I am passing to the level of the students. I support the student through encouragement and also persists when I see that the student is having difficulty. I first teach the students and follow this up with exercises and assignments. This way I will know if the student understood what was taught. I also make it a point to revise the previous lessons taken before teaching what I have for the day.
