Fun Facts

I absolutely love fashion and fitness and if I can put the two together, it's even better. I am either running a trail or lunging around the neighborhood to keep fit. I am the oldest of two and the second in my entire family to graduate from college (my mom was the first). On top of all that I enjoy learning new dances and choreography.

About Me

This will be my third year of teaching full time and I'm excited to start my fourth. I graduated from Prairie View A&M University with my B.A. in Communications and a minor in marketing. I hope to return soon to start and complete my M.S. in Marketing.

Experience

As an educator, I have vast experience teaching and tutoring adolescents to master reading comprehension for three years. Along with holding my own classes, I held tutorial sessions before school for students who needed a more hands-on, individualized approach.

Approach

For the most part, I have always excelled in a majority of classes that I had to take from elementary all the way up to college, but in an ironic way I've always taken a tutor role; helping anyone who was struggling or didn't quite understand the content. I absolutely love learning and if I can make my students love it too by making the content engaging and providing positive encouragement, it makes the process smoother.
