Fun Facts

I am from the Midwest and have had a blast experiencing all that Colorado has to offer. I love hiking and cooking and sitting in the backyard with friends. I recently became an aunt! I am close with my family and love entertaining them with my years of teaching stories.

About Me

I am a high school math teacher currently focused on Precalculus and Calculus. I previously taught middle school math as well as Algebra I and Algebra II. My goal is always to meet my students where they are at (whether they love math, hate it, or are somewhere in between) and help them build the skills and understanding they need to feel confident. I have a Masters degree in Education and am certified to teach grades 5-12.

Experience

I earned my Masters in Education from the University of Notre Dame and am licensed to teach math, grades 5-12. I taught middle school math for two years and honed my skills at teaching to a wide variety of ability levels. My goal is to meet each student where they are at and build them up to new levels of confidence. I now teach high math, all levels from Algebra I up to Applied Calculus. I love to make math as real-world and applicable as possible.

Approach

I see the potential in each and every student. My goal is always to find a way of teaching that connects with the individual student. I love to make fun practice problems and real world examples to illustrate how great math can be!
