By the age of five, I knew how to read and write. About Me

I am a full-time state college faculty member Instructing Physics and Physical Science courses in the state of Texas. Meanwhile, I am a graduate student at houston">the houston">University of Houston, studying Learning, Design, and Technology. As learners, we all need coaching and scaffolding at times, which is natural or even the most efficient approach. However, a critical factor in the success of a student is his willingness to try and grow. It is then that the tutor or coach can make the learner fall in love with the subject and gain more self-confidence or even discover new potential in herself. Finally, to me, learning and teaching have always been more than just a source of income; it is the shortest path to becoming eternal!

Experience

As a university faculty member, I have taught Physics and Electrical Engineering courses and instructed labs for over twenty years. With another Master’s degree in Teaching English (ESL), I have tutored hundreds of prospective immigrants, Ph.D. candidates, and engineers, enabling them to succeed in their English proficiency level tests for a better life.

Approach

Every successful tutoring relationship starts with an interview and a thorough evaluation and assessment of the student’s needs. Next, I reach an agreement with the learner over the approach and method. A critical factor in the success of a student is his academic trust in the tutor. Teaching and learning is a two-way relationship. Yet, it is the tutor's responsibility to assess if the student can achieve the optimal results.
