Fun Facts

I love the Olympics, particularly the Summer Olympics - swimming & gymnastics are my absolute favorite events to watch & cheer. I love all things related to oncology & lymphedema physical therapy, & I especially love teaching people about these things. I enjoy spending time with my husband, exercising, & playing with my puppy.

About Me

I graduated from Texas Christian University in 2015 with my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology & then earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2018. Today, I specialize in treating patients with cancer & lymphedema.

Experience

I coached a swim team & taught swim lessons during college to a variety of age groups & experience levels. During graduate school, I tutored undergraduate students in essay writing. I have enjoyed guest lecturing at a few colleges, & I am excited to get back into tutoring/teaching. As a physical therapist, I am constantly educating patients on a variety of subjects, from their condition to treatment approaches to long-term independent management to regain their health.

Approach

Through my experience with treating patients of all ages & abilities, I am able to meet the student where they are at to facilitate appropriate learning of the topics & to empower them to take charge of their understanding.
