Fun Facts
I love to travel and to learn as much as I can before I travel somewhere new. Before traveling to India, I learned as much as I could about the history of the Mughals and Mauryas, Indian geography and Indian culture! I made the best of my trip that way.
About Me
I am a French-American graduate student at the Elliott School of International Affairs at the washington-university">George Washington University. I recently graduated from King's College London where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in War Studies and History. My ultimate goal is to go work in the national security sector.
I am a native French speaker and I have expansive historical knowledge beyond my own specialization of the history of conflicts. With a lot of experience as a team leader, I focus on motivation.
Experience
For three years of my undergraduate degree, I served as VP and then President of the Francophone debate team of my university. In a competitive league, teaching and training members to become better public speakers by teaching them cultural references, formal briefing, organization and engaging in speaking exercises became an essential function. In this category, I excelled, leading our team to the national semi-finals in our team's second year of existence.
Approach
I have discovered that I succeed when I enjoy what I do. Because we cannot always choose what we do (we have to take the SAT, for example), we have to learn to love completing exercises and learning. I have found that goals-oriented approaches, dynamic and personable teaching and a bespoke approach—catering to a student's interests—work best.
