Fun Facts
One thing that people learn first about me is that I love space. Any chance I get, I will try to explain my fascination with the universe and the mysteries of it - such as black holes. I also love to box. I'm not very good at it, but it's something I enjoy doing very much.
About Me
I am a junior Physics and Math double major at New York University and I love math and physics. When I graduate, I hope to pursue a PhD in Physics at a prestigious university. Ultimately, I would like to go into research or work at NASA.
I tutored a variety of subjects in high school, including Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, and Spanish. I tutored Chemistry and Physics on alternating days and Calculus every day after school. I tutored Spanish twice a week. Upon entering college, I continued to tutor Physics, Chemistry, and Calculus.
As a tutor, I attempt to explain the concepts covered in a variety of subject in an easy to understand manner. Sometimes, students have difficulty understanding new material in class, and no matter how much the teacher tries to explain it, it doesn't make sense. As someone who has gone through the same struggles, I have learned how to explain material in a way that makes sense to myself and other students. If my explanations are not successful, I remain persistent and continue to try and explain material until it makes sense. After the material begins to make sense, I work with the student to develop a study plan and work through practice problems to drill the material in.
