Fun Facts

I consider myself extremely outgoing and easy to talk to. I believe that I can make conversation with anyone. I love being active and busy. I've danced most of my life, this including Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Tap. I was also involved in musicals in high school. In college I have continued dancing, and also joined a sorority. My main reason for joining was so that I could meet more people. Since I am an only child, I've always longed for lots of friends since I was never able to have that sibling bond.

About Me

I currently attend Drexel University and am involved in a 5 year program. I will be entering my 5th year come September and will be a Senior. I entered college as a math major hoping that I would someday be teaching mathematics. My original goal was to obtain a PHD in math so I could teach college level courses. During my third year in drexel, I realized that I wanted to teach high school mostly because I feel as though I am very good with children and teenagers. I then became enrolled in a BS/MS program where I will obtain a bachelors in math and masters in education when I graduate in 2015. I still hope to receive a PHD in mathematics someday, but would like to teach highschool math first and then maybe move up to teaching college math someday.

I unfortunately do not have much professional philadelphia">tutoring experience during college, but am applying today in hopes that I can gain some before I enter the classroom in another year. Because of my packed schedule the past couple years I was not able to philadelphia">tutor at the nearby schools like I wanted to because many of my math classes ran from 3-6 which is when the afterschool philadelphia">tutoring took place. I just started philadelphia">tutoring this lady named Vicki's, grandson in math to help him prepare for the keystone. (She is a friend of a co-worker's at my old job) I have also always helped my friends with their math classes and in highschool helped philadelphia">tutor other highschool students and students at the nearby middle school. Since I was the secretary of the honor society, I organized many trips to the middle school for us to help out.

Like I stated above, I haven't had much experience with philadelphia">tutoring in college, besides this recent philadelphia">tutoring with Vicki but would love the opportunity! I work very well with children of all ages. When I was in high school, I worked at a store named Libby Lu, where we hosted birthday parties for girls ages 5-15 . I truly believe I can get along with anyone and know how to handle tough situations. Education is very importa
