About Me

I'm an honors senior working toward my degree in biology at the riverside">University of California, Riverside. One thing I love about science is that all of its branches are connected! I am very excited to share these connections with you and watch you make new links of your own!

Experience

As the oldest child in my family, I have garnered dozens of hours of experience calmly explaining elementary, middle school, and high school topics to my siblings. As a ski instructor at Snow Summit Ski Resort, I discovered a variety of teaching methods to best explain material, being that every student learns differently. My secret weapons, however, are laughter and personal connections!

Approach

Up until college, I was a B student. My first year at university was fraught with hours at the tutoring center, long nights refining study methods, and countless pens emptied for notes. I was overjoyed to make it into the honors program and along the way, I have lived out the motto "work smarter, not harder." No two students retain material in the exact same way, and I guarantee you that we can find a new way to succeed in that class you're struggling in.
