About Me
I am a recent graduate from The Ohio State University with a degree in Finance. I got a full scholarship to college and love sharing how I did it and helping current students achieve their dreams! Ever since high school, I have tutored students and helped them ace their SATs as well as their math and English classes at school. I've taught at Kumon, VIPKID, and even an elementary school in Denmark!
Experience
I have taught over 500 students through VIPKID, age 5-12, and I love sharing stories, laughter, and knowledge. I also do private tutoring in person every week, and my elementary and middle schoolers always have a great time in class while picking up new material quickly. I love using positive affirmation and encouragement. I have also helped my middle school students study for the Academic Center Entrance Exam.
Approach
As a child, I had a lot of tutors. Math, English, Reading, SAT, you name it. I got to see very quickly what made a tutor good and what made a tutor difficult to learn from. I realized that tutors should be kind, open to feedback, and positive. Education and achievement in school has always been a priority for me and I love sharing my tips and tricks for success with the younger generation. It makes me so happy to see my students grow and become confident learners and members of society.
