Fun Facts

I have an identical twin sister who studied Engineering in Harvey Mudd College! Even though she lives in the west coast when I live in east coast, we call everyday to do yoga, cook, and watch movies whenever we call each other in our free time. I like listening to music and singing even though I am not very good at singing.

About Me

I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry. Currently I am working as a skincare process engineer for St. Ives and Love Beauty Planet! My ultimate goal is to become dermatologist to help teens who are struggling with acne to bring confidence and smiles back into their life.

Experience

As a tutor an independent tutor, I had the opportunity to teach high school students in preparing SAT/ACT math section where I helped student improve 150+ in math. I also specialize in teaching SAT subject test in Chemistry and Math level 2 in addition to high school chemistry, pre-calculus, geometry, and algebra. I have been teaching math and chemistry for past 2 years now and I would like to continue helping students improve their scores and grades for their academic success

Approach

I have always reached out to tutors when I struggled with challenging classes such as Chemistry and Math when I was in high school. I learned various studying skills from each tutors where I was able to find my own method of studying that worked for me. As a tutor, I hope to bring challenge to students to help understand the materials thoroughly and build study plan for students to build their own studying skills that will work for them in the future.
