About Me

I am a junior studying Finance and Creative Writing at the NYU Stern School of Business. I have a 3.9 GPA, and I work in children's education, management consulting, and publishing. I would love to pursue a career in academia after graduation!

Experience

Outside of university, I work as a Montessori teacher’s assistant with a specialty in children 18 mo. - 6 yrs, and I’m currently completing the coursework to obtain my MACTE diploma to become a certified Montessori teacher! Teaching is an immense privilege and joy of mine. I know COVID-19 has made educating your kids very challenging. I have four years of experience tutoring middle and high school kids in all subjects, and I currently teach my little cousins remotely.

Approach

I think that my focus in teaching is to help kids develop confidence. Often times, in school, students can feel a diminished sense of self-esteem when they're falling behind. I want to remind these students that they are smart and capable of anything they apply themselves to--they just need a little support getting there. Don't we all?
