In my spare time, I enjoy listening to power metal music and playing video games. I also like reading different types of manga, especially shonen and horror. My favorite game is Stardew Valley, and my favorite manga series is "Tomie" by Junji Ito!

About Me

I am a graduate from the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC). My majors are Psychology and Applied Linguistics.One day, I will go back to school and earn my Masters in Psycholinguistics. I also hope to attain my Pupil Personnel Service Credentials so that I can continue working with children.

Experience

In the past, I've tutored both high school and elementary students at various math levels. My first job out of high school was in fact tutoring! I've also had tutoring experience prior to graduating both as a volunteer and as a paid tutor.

Approach

My approach to tutoring children is very simple and straightforward; I show them how to do the math problem first, then allow them to solve similar problems on their own. If required, I will show them where they made the error in order to help them understand the concept. English likewise will also be taught through demostration and practice. For all math students, I will require all students to write out their solutions step by step on a lined sheet of paper.
