About Me

My name is Angel Castro-Diaz. I have been in the education field for 23 yrs as a teacher and lately as an administrator. I graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a B.A. in secondary education with a major of math and an M.A. in Educational Leadership. I am certified for Math grades 5-8 and 8-12. I am punctual, organized, and will do whatever it takes to help the student to reach the expectations.

Experience

I have provided private tutoring services for the last 12 yrs to a wide range of students (mainly students in middle school through college) with diverse learning styles. Also, I have experience coaching students in study skills and SAT/ACT Math and TSI prep.

Approach

Tutoring strategies focus on gearing the lessons towards the students' interest. I enjoy getting to know my tutee's interests and at the same time establish a friendly, comfortable environment while remaining professional.
