Fun Facts
One fun fact about myself is that I am REALLY into golf. I was on the variety golf team of my high school (before I moved to NYC). There was one point where I played just about every day with my friends (of course after all of my schoolwork was done). I am also a watch geek, such as its history, current companies/brands, etc.
About Me
I am currently a sophomore Physics major and Mathematics minor at the rochester">rochester">University of rochester">Rochester. I am transferring from franklin">franklin-and-marshall-college">franklin">Franklin and Marshall College where I have made the deans list! After graduation I hope to get job in the private sector at either an engineering, technology, or finance company.
Before I became a tutor, I started casually helping people who were struggling in my various classes. Once we met, they would run me through the particular ideas/concepts they were struggling with. Instead of trying to 'spoon feed' the material to them I helped guide my classmates until they understood the material to a point where they could explain the idea/concept to me, and successfully use it in practice. This practice came through both their homework and extra exercises I came with on the spot if I felt it necessary. Through helping these classmates with their Calculus I, II, III, College Algebra, and Introductory Physics homework and test preparation, I got the reputation as THE tutor to go to.
As a standout double major I have a deep understanding of mathematics and physics, genuinely enjoy both subject maters, and most importantly love working with people. I am an extremely involved and concerned tutor that works quickly to asses and evaluate students unique individual learning style. I personally guarantee that I will help every student achieve her/his full potential, as my experience has proven.
