Fun Facts
Since I was a child always been interested in learning foreign languages along with the culture and society that coincides. I have traveled to a handful of countries and plan to keep on exploring the world.
About Me
I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA where I majored in International Studies and successfully completed three minors in Spanish, Arabic & Middle Eastern Studies, and Religious Studies. My ultimate goal is to become a certified Spanish and ESL teacher to students of all ages from child all the way up to adult. I would also love to become an Ambassador of Spain as well.
Experience
Shortly after graduated I taught Spanish in an elementary school for a year. At that time I taught roughly 400 students a week. I also was employed as an Assistant Director at an after school where I helped students complete their homework and afterwards fun playtime. Recently I have also took the time to become certified to teach ESL as well. During these trivial times I would love the opportunity to continue to reach out to individuals who want learn a language or simply just gain a fun hobby.
Approach
As a tutor I will make it my duty to ensure all my learners young and old have a relaxed experience where the student's feedback and desires are just as important as the target subject being taught. Lesson plans will always be catered to the learner and to what they personally want to gain from each session. I am no stranger to working with an individual who needs the patience and encouragement to work through mistakes and more time to work through certain topics.
