About Me

I am currently a PhD student in Clinical Psychology looking for part time tutoring opportunities. I graduated from The College of New Jersey with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Sociology in 2016. I then went on to receive a MA in Experimental Psychology from dickinson-university">Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2018.

Experience

I am experienced in tutoring elementary, intermediate, high school, and college students. As an undergraduate student I worked for my college's tutoring center specializing in assisting students in psychology and sociology course material, writing skills, and study skills/personal organization.

Approach

As a tutor, I encourage critical thinking and flexibility. I believe students are best helped by learning to rigorously question and evaluate learning material. Flexibility is important in this, as there is often more than one "right" way to do most tasks; I encourage students to learn in whatever way feels right for them. I see supporting students' mental health as key to this process.
