Fun Facts

One fun fact about me is that I love sports! Although watching it on television and cheering from the stands are fun, there is nothing like playing baseball or soccer on a beautiful 70 degree day. Another fun fact about myself is that my favorite season is winter. Even today, as a teacher, I still look forward to snow days!

About Me

In terms of education, I am currently in the Touro graduate school program for special ed. I hope to complete my masters in a little over a year. My long term goal is to become a curriculum designer, specifically in regards to education/new-jersey/new-jersey">special education. I want to make all material accessible to all students.

Experience

I have tutored sporadically but have done individual and small group homework/study sessions while working in a school environment. Sometimes all it takes to progress in school is a little assistance and I looking forward to doing that for the students with Frog Tutoring.

Approach

Learning can be an exciting and confidence building process if approached from the appropriate angle. I hope to accomplish this goal by breaking down complicated tasks into, smaller, more meaningful projects. Once the student knows the "Why" of their work, they are more likely to be motivated. I believe any student can learn as long as they understand why they are learning the material.
