Fun Facts
As far as extracurricular activities, I am interested in tennis, rock climbing, basketball, and seeing movies (anything by Wes Anderson). I am very friendly and patient, and I strive for my students' success!
About Me
I am a returning student of physics at the University of Arizona. When I graduate, I would like to do research in the field of particle physics.
I informally began my tucson">tutoring career about two years ago tucson">tutoring my roommate in trigonometry and college algebra. More recently, I have been a part of the University of Arizona's tucson">Tutoring in the Schools Program. As a part of this program, I have been tucson">tutoring several hours a week in mathematics at Peter Howell Elementary School and Roskruge K-8. In addition, I have been privately tucson">tutoring this semester in physics.
Perhaps not directly related, but I was recently the head tennis instructor at Saguaro Aquatics, where my students ranged from children to adults. In fact, I organized and then ran a tennis camp that met every day over spring break and had nearly 30 children enrolled. I hope these credentials demonstrate my ability to work with people of all ages and skill levels.
Whether it's math, physics, or tennis, I believe the key to tucson">tutoring is to show enthusiasm and to be able to explain something not only clearly, but in many different ways.
