After spending a long time in quarantine during this unprecedented time, I discovered that I actually love doing color-by-number art. I thought I long got over my interest in coloring and drawing but I realized it's a great way to relax and de-stress when I have a lot of work. I would use this as an incentive for when I finish doing work or studying for something.

About Me

I graduated from Yeshiva University this past May as a Biology major and a Jewish studies minor. During my time there, I was president of the Red Cross Club and helped run many fun and informative events for college students. I'm planning on attending an accelerated nursing program starting in January. I'm very excited to become a nurse and join the healthcare field!

Experience

I have tutored mainly high school girls in a variety of subjects the main ones being Judaic studies, biology, history and literature. I helped these students both doing in class assignments and in studying for tests. Additionally, I have a bunch of younger siblings and I'm con stantly helping them with any assignments they may have and informing them of study skills I find useful.

Approach

When I was first asked whether I wanted to tutor, I was kind of nervous because I wasn't sure if I was ready to take on such a responsibility. Once I took the leap, I realized what a great experience it is. Usually, I would prepare in advance with the course material. Other times, the student would ask for help in a subject I wasn't told about in advance. In these cases, we would work through it together and I think this method had the most impact because then the student learns how to study.
