A fun fact about me is that I love to stay active and go on adventures! I love finding new places to hike or play pick up soccer, or new places in general. I also love dogs, they are the key to my heart.

About Me

I am a senior Health Science major at Spelman College. I have received academic honors for both sophomore and junior year. I aspire to become a doctor that helps people in need.

Experience

As an undergraduate student as Spelman, I am involved in different clubs that feed my interests in the medical field as well as research. To combine my enthusiasm for community service and health, I am the treasurer for the Health Careers Club. Also, I am the community service chair for the Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS) where we strive to eliminate and educate the community about health disparities.

Approach

In high school, I attended a school in a very competitive school district where everything was fast paced. Sometimes it was hard to grasp everything in such a short period of time or for a test in addition to all my extracurricular activities. I had tutors who would assist me with not just my school work, but organizational techniques and tips that helped me stay on track in high school. I want to help students in that same way!
