Fun Facts
I once had breakfast in Germany, lunch in Switzerland and dinner in Austria – all in one day! I love historical grand strategy PC games. Have you played CK2?
About Me
I am a recent graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). At UCLA, I earned College Honors for my Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy with a minor in History and a 3.54 GPA. I also studied two years of college physics and math. During my time at UCLA, I worked a journalist (news writer and copy editor). I hope to attend law school next year. My ultimate goal is to work as a public international lawyer, representing governments in international courts of law.
Experience
I have over eight years' of experience teaching students of all ages and abilities in a wide array of subjects. I have been tutoring students since I was in the 8th grade, when I received a special commendation from my school principle for preparing middle-schoolers for their Trinity College Communications exam. I know that working with Frog Tutoring will help me make a larger, meaningful impact in my student's careers.
Approach
Traditional K-12 schools throw an overwhelming variety of concepts at their students. And, in most cases, it is unrealistic for all these concepts to stick. My job as a tutor is to translate each concept into a language that the student can understand and relate to. Indeed, that is my passion.
