Fun Facts

Lots of people may think puns are not funny, and okay, maybe some of them aren't that great. But I'm a sucker for puns. Lame ones, genuinely clever ones, any type of puns will make me laugh! I am a middle child and often find myself the victim of relentless good-natured teasing from my sisters. I also do not have an artsy bone in my body, even though I played the saxophone throughout middle school. But, I still love DIY-ing things whenever I have the chance!

About Me

I am starting my 1L year at Penn State Law in State College, PA. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. John's University with a BA in English. My career goal is to become an attorney, and hopefully, a trial attorney!

Experience

As a middle child and the only one majoring in something outside of STEM or business, I frequently help my sisters by looking over and editing their papers. I also used to tutor classmates in middle and high school with any type of subject. I was so happy to help impart my knowledge and help to students that need it! I also love it when the little tricks that help me when I study may go on and help another student with their studies. I believe in paying it forward!

Approach

When I was in elementary school, I used to struggle with writing and grammar. I wasn't particularly bad, but I wasn't great either. I wanted to improve but didn't have a clear direction. My mom found the kindest and supportive tutor for my sisters and me. I ended up finding a great passion for writing and English, enough to major in it in college! I found myself trying to embody her encouraging and bright demeanor when tutoring my classmates. Positive encouragement and support can go a long way!
