About Me

I am a first-year student at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University. I spent my undergraduate years at Manhattan College where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and graduated Magna Cum Laude. I am currently working towards a PhD in Clinical Psychology and would love to help students enhance their academic skills in any way possible!

Experience

As a graduate student, I have tutored younger students in the past; mostly students who are in elementary school. However, I am confident in my skills in psychology to teach at any level, including undergraduate! I understand how difficult topics in psychology such as statistics, abnormal psychology, and sensation and perception. I am very passionate about these subjects and am more than happy to help out students who are studying these topics as well!

Approach

As someone who has been in school for many years, I feel that I know some tips and tricks that allow students to get a better grip on topics and ensure they remember them long term. I am constantly rethinking and revising the way that I study and I understand that every student is different especially based on the classes I have flourished in psychology. I feel that I am able to make a significant impact on a student's way of learning as I'm continuously trying to enhance mine!
