Fun Facts

Music is one of my passions, specifically playing an instrument. I have played the saxophone for twelve years and have learned a variety of musical styles. I enjoy interweaving my musical passion with education, which I think transformed the way I view learning, leading to my success as a student.

About Me

I am currently a graduate student at Morehouse School of Medicine, where I am pursuing a Masters degree in Medical Science. Next year, I will be attending medical school, which is my next step toward becoming a physician.

Experience

I received my B.S. in Biology from Morehouse College in May 2020. While here, I tutored and mentored students weekly in various science classes. I enjoyed helping students grow personally and academically, showing them how to live a balanced student-work life.

Approach

From my different tutoring experiences, both as the tutor and the tutee, I have created a system for myself and others to ensure success. My goal is to build students holistically, starting with their mindset and the belief that they can learn anything. My approach focuses on building strong foundations because many students' struggles are rooted in topics or classes that should serve as a base of knowledge.
