I would also like to be a linguist. I like learning new languages.
My teaching/bronx">tutoring experience includes 12 months teaching English in South Korea, and 12 months in New York.
I have taught ESL for ALCC, Zoni, and CES Embassy Schools in the New York Area.
I have taught in Korea shift workers, middle, high school, and college students, office workerse , and engineers.
In New York, I have taught adults and visiting international high school students.
My teaching philosophy?
Be a coach, not a critic.
Focus on improving a student's performance, with perfect practice and immediate feedback.
Tell a student not only what he is doing wrong, but how to do it correctly tactfully and diplomatically.
There are no dull subjects, just dull teachers. Any subject taught with passion can get a student interested.
Never bore the student. Boredom kills learning. Students are there to learn, not to be bored.
Teaching is an art. Always strive to immprove your craft.
