Fun Facts

Unlike most people, I was actually born in Germany since both of my parents were in the Army. I have lived in North Carolina, Tampa, Texas, Oklahoma, and now Miami. Of all the places, I would probably say Tampa is my favorite since most of my family and friends live there. I'm also a HUGE fan of sports, primarily basketball and football.

About Me

I am a senior recreation and sport management student at Florida International University. I transferred here from Hillsborough Community College after eating my Associates degree in Education. Upon completing graduation I will pursue my Master's degree in the field of education. I really hope to teach at a University, while running my own travel basketball team.

The miami">tutoring experience I have is primarily with my little sister as she is a home schooled student. I help her a lot with her math. Also, when I was in high school my friends and classmates would often come to me when they needed assistance with the material we were learning.

Going through school I was always one of the better students when it came to math. I always knew there were students that weren't as good, but I knew it was something every student was capable of being good at as well. They just needed the motivation and direction to be good at it, so I would help motivate classmates by telling them that they're capable of understanding the material all they needed were the right directions. Then, I would help them by giving directions asking them to show me how to do the material instead of just doing it for them giving the answers. I know every student is capable of being good at math all they need is someone to believe in them and help guide them.
