Fun Facts

A fun fact about me is that I am a huge basketball fan and I love music. I am the youngest of 3 and I have 7 nieces and 3 nephews. I am a military brat and I have lived in several different states including New Mexico and Alaska.

About Me

I am a senior Biology Student at Fayetteville State University. After graduation, I hope to attend medical school to become an Orthopedic Surgeon.

Experience

I've been tutoring students since I was about 10 years old as a volunteer at my local Boy's and Girl's Club and also helping my nephews with their schoolwork as well. When I got to high I became a student athlete tutor.

Approach

As a child, I struggled in school and found learning to be difficult and extremely frustrating . In the 3rd grade , I was fortunate enough to have a teacher who believed in me and she helped me realize my true potential. As a tutor, I want to bring this attitude to all of my sessions. Instead of giving students the easy way out by giving answers, I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach them the content, but study skills that will help them be successful in all classes!
