Fun Facts
During the summers, I compete as a professional lumberjack! I have been logrolling since the age of 3, and I compete in both that and the boom run. Two summers ago, I worked at a lumberjack show in northern Wisconsin, doing the chainsaw, crosscut saw, log roll, boom run, and canoe jousting to entertain spectators!
About Me
I am currently attending Denver University to earn my Performance Certificate in Horn Performance. I have a master's in horn performance from the Manhattan School of Music and bachelor's degrees from Oberlin College and Conservatory in horn performance, music composition, and mathematics. My ultimate goal is to become a professional horn player, either in a symphony orchestra, band, or as a gig worker playing in musical pit orchestras.
Experience
I began tutoring in undergrad at Oberlin College, where I tutored my peers in both math and German. I also served as a TA for several 100-level German classes and taught composition and music theory classes for the local youth orchestra. When I moved to New York for my master's, I began working professionally as a tutor. I have tutored students ages middle school to college in math, physics, statistics, and ACT and SAT prep. I have extensive experience in both remote and in-person tutoring.

Through my work in mathematics and tutoring in Oberlin and New York, I have learned that there are many ways to reach a right answer, and it is important to find one that works for each student and is
