Fun Facts

People are always fascinated whenever I tell them that watch movies more than 30 times and I don't get bored. It's really not an exaggeration. I also love singing, even though someone always yells "Shut Up" whenever I start. Apart from that, I love people. It's almost very easy for me to communicate with other people.

About Me

I am a science/arkansas/little-rock">Computer Science Major in Philander Smith college. I've been there for two years now. I don't think I have plans to go to grad school yet, but when I graduate, I plan to work in a company as a Software Engineer. My biggest and best goal in life is to be the most amazing philanthropist and life coach I know.

Experience

I was a Programming 1 tutor in the second semester of my freshman year. I really enjoyed teaching the students I was assigned to. It felt easy. Not because I had already taken the course, but because I really enjoy helping people and I love the satisfaction that it comes with. At the end of the semester, 90% of my students all ended up with distinctions.

Approach

I never had a tutor growing up. My parents did not think I needed one even though I was convinced I did. I watched my friends when they were getting tutored and I was amazed at how some of the tutors were very patient with their students compared to some that were not. When I become a tutor, I'm going to be patient with my students because I know and understand that learning is not as easy for some students. I will also make sure that learning is as fun as it can be.
