Fun Facts

One passion that I have is sports. I love all sports and got to play many different ones but. softball became the one sport I loved the most. I was able to play for 16 years of my life and enjoyed the game and the lessons it taught me. I follow all sports and enjoy watching and getting to play them as well! I also love giving back to the community and volunteering as much as possible.

About Me

I am a senior Chemical Engineering student at Tuskegee University with a 3.8 GPA. I have also attended Albany State University for 2 years for my Bachelor's degree and obtained a 3.8 GPA there as well. When I graduate, I hope to become a Process Engineer and go into industry and create more opportunities for people who look like me and aren't afforded specific opportunities because of what they look like.

Experience

I have been a part of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Math Honor Society where I had to volunteer tutoring so I was able to help other students succeed in high school. I always went above and beyond and didn't stop helping others because I received my hours for the organization I was a part of. I also had the opportunity to help someone individually in math as a tutor in high school as well and that experience really helped them as well as me as I was able to gain knowledge.

Approach

As a child, I have always been gifted in math because of my mom. I remember being taught math and understanding so quick and loving everything about it. I was fortunate to be able to be apart of magnet programs, honors classes, the IB program, and many STEM based camps so I have always seen/been around the STEM field and loved every moment of it. I love to help others as well and tae their strengths and passions and help them learn their own way and not force them to learn my way.
