Fun Facts
Apart from shopping, one thing that I absolutely love to do is EAT! In my free time I enjoy making and trying out new recipes. Other than my mom, my only other best friend is my dog Wrinkles whom I love so much. I enjoy going to carnivals & amusement parks and one day I hope to go sky diving!
About Me
I am a junior Elementary Education major at Grambling State University, and have been on the Dean's List since my freshman year! Upon graduating, I hope to obtain both my Masters & Doctorate in Educational Leadership. My ultimate goal is to become the Secretary of Education.
Experience
As a member of National Honor Society and Zonta Club in high school, I had the opportunity to tutor students in all core subjects. Last summer I journeyed to Mamelodi, South Africa on a 3 week mission trip where I worked with students in an after school program. I was also selected as an intern for Memphis Teacher Residency to tutor inner-city children. Working for Frog Tutoring grants me the privilege to impact even more lives of students that need help during these uncertain times!
Approach
I've always loved learning. But in middle school I really struggled with math, and my grades soon started to reflect it. Fortunately, I had a tutor who believed in me, was dedicated to getting me get back on track, & always had an encouraging word to follow. As a tutor, I plan to bring that same passion to all of my sessions. I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach them the content, but build a positive relationship that will equip them to be successful in school and in life!

I am qualified to tutor College Algebra because I scored a 27 as a sub score on the math portion of the ACT. While taking math courses on the collegiate level including College Algebra, I have maintained an A-B average.
