About Me

I am a senior civil engineering major at Alabama A&M University. I've received the President's Award, made the Dean's list, and honor roll. I have had an internship all four years of my college career. I aspire to one day be a Project Manager.

Experience

I am in multiple organizations on campus. In those organizations, we volunteer reading to students and tutoring in math. My mother is also a former middle and high school math teacher and college professor. I would sometimes return home to help tutor some of her students.

Approach

I have always had a passion for math. But sometimes I struggled with my classes do to me losing focus often because of other things being on my mind. I find that children attach more to people who they relate to. People who are closer in age to them give them the motivation that they can be just as intelligent. I want to relate to students and give them that sense of hope!
