Fun Facts
My middle name is Speed. Really! Fortunately for me, I am a sports nut. I love soccer, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, tennis, and anything else that involves a ball, a few rules, and being outside.
About Me
I recently graduated with a Masters in Public Affairs from princeton-university">Princeton University, where I received a full academic scholarship. My long-term goal is to be a public servant. Along the way I hope to continue learning, travel broadly, and keep maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring.
Most recently I served as a writing maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor at princeton-university">Princeton University's Writing Center. In the past I have worked for a professional maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutoring company and Tufts University's academic resource center. I have tutored many subjects: SAT, PSAT, Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, History, English, and Writing.
I let the student learn. My philosophy is that 100 mistakes made by a student (and ample feedback) is better than a single answer provided by the maryland/maryland/baltimore">baltimore">tutor. For this reason I like to teach problem-solving approaches along with the material and to ask probing questions meant to help the student towards the answer.
